"Hello my name is Rick Van Hoorn and I here to talk about mountain biking for Expert Village. Okay now we are going to talk about the different types of mountain riding that you can enjoy. The first one I'm going to talk about is cross country race, mountain biking a lot of folks get into this sport and they become addicted to it and start getting into the racing. Cross country mountain biking is up and down you and you should do a circuit of about maybe 6 laps anywhere from 2,4,6, laps there self depending on your classification. It is adventure mounting biking and that is also what I do is where you get together with a bunch of friends and you go out to the hill sometime for a 1 hour, sometimes we get back after 6 hours, we get back in the wilderness, with a team, by yourself, self reliable kind of mountain bike riding. Another type of mountain riding is called free riding and those are bikes free rider bikes usually have a lot of suspension, a lot of motion in there suspension and a lot of trial like is a better term for it and what they do they ride these heavier bikes up hills so they can ride them down hill really fast and do a lot of jumps and they do a lot of man made obstacles as well. Then there is a down hill mountain bike and that is specifically heavy duty down hill machine, full suspension, really really fast on the down hill, 10 inches of travel many of them you travel up hill and these are gondola in a car and you jump on the bike and you travel down as fast as you can to the bottom of the hill and you do it over and over. Those are types of mountain biking riding that you can enjoy. "
