" The next thing I’m going to demonstrate for you is called a V-step right and left. We’ve mastered the right; we’ve mastered the left. We’re going to ahead and alternate. Remember that when you alternate, the foot you’re switching to taps on the floor. Lets start with the V-step right. The right foot makes complete contact with the floor. Since we’re alternating, we’re just going to tap that left foot and start on the left side. Remember when you lead with the left you start with the left. Tap the right foot, going back up with the right foot. Since we’ve started with the right, we step down with the right. Tap, left lead, left down, tap, right lead, right down, switch, left lead, perfect, switch, right lead, right down, switch. Lets pick up that pace and tap up, up. Once you’ve gotten the hang of it, lets say if you can add the arms as the alternate. Right, left, perfect. Make sure that the entire foot makes contact with the platform. If you need to look down feel free to do so. You can glance down on that platform from time to time. Perfect. "
