" Next exercise I’m going to demonstrate is a basic left. Since we have mastered with the basic right sometimes it’s harder on one leg than the other. So let us go ahead and master the basic left. Starting with your left foot, heel toe, extending all the way, opposite foot down, toe heel, leading with that left leg the whole time. Most of us are right handed, so it’s easier to step up and down and do things with our right leg. When it comes to working on the left side, it requires little more balance and a bit more concentration. Heel toe, toe heel, heel toe, toe heel, fully extending those knees, fully extending those hips. You don’t want to lock your joints, but you do want full extension. You want to prevent tight hip flexors, perfect. Remember step back a foot’s distance away from that bench, perfect. Good. "
