" The first exercise that I’m going to demonstrate for you on the step platform is called the basic right. This is the most basic step you’re going to learn and will gradually increase. You’re going to start with your feet together. Both feet, heel and toe, on the floor. With your right leg, since it’s a basic right, you’re going to step up heel toe, fully extend. With your right leg, step down, toe heel. Inhale as you step up and down. Heel toe on top of the step… toe heel on the floor. Basic right, your right leg always leads on the top of the bench and off of the bench. Perfect. Stand all the way up and all the way down. Make sure your feet make contact with the floor and your entire foot comes on the step. Never let your feet hang off of the back. All the way come up…all the way down. This is a basic right. "
