"The next exercise I’m going to perform is a seated quadricep extension. You can sit on a chair, on a resistance ball, against a wall in your backyard, whatever is most comfortable for you. Wherever you’re sitting, both hands should be able to be place right next to you. One foot is going to remain on the floor, knee over ankle – the opposite foot is going to lift just slightly. If this is difficult enough for you, you can stay here otherwise you’re going to exhale as you extend that leg and inhale and pull it back in. Very slow – very controlled. You’re not going to lift that leg up or down, you’re going to keep it stationary next to the other leg and extend and pull in. try to get up to about 15 repetitions of these on each side because you’re really going to start to feel it in your quadricep. Make sure you breathe – exhale and inhale. Do you see how still my upper body is? Keep the abdominals contracted, you don’t want to lean side to side, you don’t want to lean front and back. Just that leg. Extend and pull in. "
