Video Transcript

"The next exercise I am going to demonstrate to you is called the scissors. Go ahead and lie flat on your back starting with your hands by your side, navel to your spine. Again, pacing yourself; this is a pretty difficult exercise. You are going to extend both of your legs directly over your hips. Your toes are pointed. Supporting yourself with your hands you are going to inhale and exhale as you lift your boots off of the floor stacking your rib cage and hip bones one on top of the other. Supporting yourself with your hands, navel to your spine, you are going to scissor those legs one leg in front and the opposite leg behind. The top leg does not come past your eye line; inhale and exhale. Be sure not to drop your leg too far over your head; only even with the eye line. Support yourself with your arms but try not to dig into your elbows; using your abs, making them really tight. "
