"The next exercise I’m going to demonstrate for you is a pull-up. You’re going to go ahead and take a couple steps on top of the bench. For support, if you need support, you’re going to place your feet on the supporting bars and you’re going to grab the handlebars at the top, very close grip. Go ahead and put all of your weight on the bottom bar, pull your navel into your spine, lengthen through your spine standing up nice and tall and exhale as you pull all the way up, squeezing your shoulder blades and inhale as you release, straightening your arms but you don’t want to lock any of your joints. You don’t want to lock your elbows. Inhale as you lower, exhale as you lift. Inhale as you lower and exhale lift. Make sure that you don’t arch your back. Keep your body straight as if you’re standing on the floor and exhale. "
