Video Transcript

"The next exercise we’re going to do is called a roll up. Go ahead and extend your legs out in front of you, legs are flat on the floor and flex your feet. So that means pull your toes in towards your body and you’re going to slowly roll your body down to the mat one vertebra at a time, keeping your navel scooped into your spine and reach your arms straight over your head. If this is new for you and you have a hard time rolling your body all the way off of the floor, you can always bend your knees and place your feet flat on the floor, navel to spine – arms are straight, inhale – exhale as you lift up. if you get stuck grab a hold of your hamstrings and pull yourself the rest of the way up, keeping the navel pulled into the spine, extend your legs, inhale as you reach over your head, scoop the navel to the spine and exhale reach out for your toes. Keeping your legs extended, inhale lift arms straight over your head, scoop your navel to your spine and exhale lower one vertebra at a time, try to prevent falling to the floor. "
