"I'm Ritchie Greer with Expert Village. So many times the outcome of a game is won and lost by the foul line. What you need to do is practice your foul shooting. I guarantee you, sooner or later, it's going to be you on the line with two seconds left and down by 1. Now, what you want to do is, if you're right-handed, you want to place your right foot directly in front of the basketball goal. Get comfortable. Do a couple bounces in your legs. Usually what they do is -- they want to go three dribbles. One, two, three, boom. Face the basket, have confidence, remember to follow through on all shots. A lot of times at the end of the game -- you see it all the time -- players, they'll stop their motion like that. A good shooter will continue to follow through throughout the shot. Here, boom. Another shot. Feel confident in your shot. Take your time. There's a lot of time you can use on the line to make the shot feel right. Crowd noise. People shouting at you. Last second shots. It all comes down to having a clear head. Don't focus on the outer part of the gym and the game, focus on what you've practiced on. Picture yourself at practice. No pressure. Confidence. Swish. And hopefully if you do these little lessons, you can have a chance to win a couple games and become a hero."
