"I'm Ritchie Greer with Expert Village. I have positioned myself into the post. Now once you get the ball down low, you have to figure out, am I going to pass the ball, or am I going to shoot it. Let's assume that you're going to go ahead and shoot it. What you want to do is you want to feel the pressure of your defender. Now he may be overplaying you by the right side or the left side. You should be able to tell that by the pressure he puts against your hip. Now, if he's overplaying me to the right, then what I want to do is -- I want to be able to turn toward the basket and make the shot. Now, if he's over here on the left, the same thing. You can do a little pump fake, which will make him swipe for the ball, and turn, and go this way. Post position is basically -- you're down low and you have to really effect on little shots that you can make sure you get over the defender's hands. Little hook shots, jump shots, little turnaround shots. Post position. You're in low. Got to be able to make baskets over your defender. You've got to feel where they're at, make shots."
