"In this clip, I am going to demonstrate how to properly maintain and stow runners or some people call them slings and tri-cams. To properly maintain a sling, verify that all stitching is correct. It should not be worn, torn or frayed and should not be coming undone at all. Also, run your fingers along the entire length of the runner and make sure there are no nicks, tears or frays in the rest of the runner. The same goes for your tri-cam. Verify that the stitching in your tri-cam is correct and not coming undone. If it is, do not use the tri-cam. Also make sure that there are no other tears or frays in the webbing of the tri-cam. Make sure that the ring that is holding this the webbing to the tri-cam is not loose in any way. If it is, do not climb on it. To stow these, stow them in your climbing bag or in a cool dry place. If they are in your climbing bag, keep them away from each other so that the tri-cam does not degrade your runner."
