Your climbing harness is one of your most vital pieces of climbing gear and should be thoroughly looked over before and after every time you climb. Begin by looking over the webbing around the legs and the center of the harness. It should be not nicked, frayed or torn at all. The most important part of the harness is the webbing around your waist. It is going to be thicker webbing and it also should not be torn, frayed at all. Also, inspect the buckle, It should not be cracked or broken or chipped in any way. To store this, store in your climbing bag or in a cool dry place. If it is in your climbing bag, make sure it is between your soft goods and your hard goods in your bag. "
