"So this next segment here is called the hop, not to be confused with the dance, the hop, but how to hop on the unicycle. It's very advanced, it's a lot of fun, and what you do is you jump up on the unicycle, you idle for a second, wait till you get everything balanced, wait till you feel like you're comfortable, and you put one hand in front, one hand in back. Make sure the pedals are parallel to the ground, and stand up. And at this point you just start bouncing like so. Bounce up and down, and whenever you're ready just jump off or continue riding. So what I do is I put one foot on, other foot on, idle back and forth here, there we go. Get my balance. And grab it, and bounce. Now a variation of this is that you let go of your hands after the first couple hops. This enables you to get your arms free to grab something like a jump rope, and you have your jump rope, and you learn how to hop like this, you could jump rope, like a hopper, very entertaining. Put one foot on, jump on--this and let go with my hands, and hop. Once you get good at that, you get the jump rope together, very entertaining, a lot of fun. And that, guys, is how you hop on a unicycle."
