"Hi, so in this segment, I'm going to show you guys how to fall properly. Because chances are when you first start riding the unicycle you're going to go down at least a couple times, and I'm going to show you how to not only save yourself from injury, but to save yourself from injuring your unicycle too much. Now, there's about four different ways that you're going to go down. If you're going to go down, you're going to go forward, back, or one side or the other. This is probably what's going to happen most of the time because when you first start learning your weight's going to be a little more forward than you need to be. So, when you're going forward like this and I fall, it's usually one foot goes down first and the other foot goes down second. So worry about that first and foremost. And, if you could think about it, you're going to grab your unicycle from behind when you go down. So that way you're saving both yourself and your unicycle, and if you feel like you're going down to the point where you're actually going to really go down, down, try to absorb most of the impact in your hands as opposed to your elbows. Okay, your hand absorbs a little bit more impact. So, the second part here is if you're going to fall backwards. Now, it's a little bit more important to grab the unicycle that way because you might--the unicycle has a tendency to jump out in front of you and it could hurt other people around you. So, if you're going forward and you slip back like this, that's kind of the same thing. One foot, then the other foot, and I grab it from the front. And last but not least if you're going to fall from side to side, you get up here and let's say I start going, and I lose my balance, and I fall to the left side, usually grab it from the front depending on where you're falling. Now this is what I was talking about before, more about going with the flow of things. If you're going to fall to the side and you're going, you have more forward momentum; try to fall to the side more. The front side more. Or if you have less momentum, try to fall to the other side more. And always try to absorb the impact in your hands, if you are going to go down, because your hands will absorb more of the impact than the elbows. So, with these tools in mind, this will keep you from hurting yourself and hurting your unicycle."
