"Hello, my name is Patrick Kenton with the Wind Riders Disc Golf Club in McKinsey Park in Lubbock, Texas. We are going to talk a little bit about the type of throw; actually, it is the angle of the throw. You can orient the disc this way for a hyzer shot or you can angle it this way for an anhyzer shot. Now most shots you should select a disc to do the work so you want to throw level most of the time. But in certain situations when there is a tree in the distance and you want to go around that tree from right to left, throw a hyzer shot something like this. It curves right to left very quickly, if you throw an anhyzer shot it goes from left to right a little bit. And also, this is pretty much the shot that you would throw to maximize your distance to get the S shot. Basically it goes up, rides the wind, comes around, decreases velocity and drops. That is the preverbal S that disc golfers are after, so we will try to throw one of those right here, I am going to anhyzer this shot. And it S’ed out and those are the two basic types of shots to throw, the hyzer shot - curves right to left and anhyzer from left to right. "
