"Hello, I am Patrick Kitten with the Wind Riders Disc Golf Club at beautiful McKinsey Park in Lubbock, Texas. We are going to talk about the primary throw that most players throw. Most players are right handed; I am right handed and so we are going to discuss the right backhand throw. A couple of things that you should really keep in mind whenever you are doing this is to try to keep the disc leveled this way, try to keep the disc from going up and down like that and leveled this way as well. Remember there are a couple of different characteristics of the discs, the over stableness which means it turn real far left and under stableness which means it turns right. But generally speaking a successful throw would be a pretty leveled throw, so try to throw leveled as a beginner and as you get better, you will start making slight adjustments. The grip for a right backhand throw is something like that. Now some people do a modified where they will do a fan grip and some people will do a little bit modified of that where they put some in and a finger out. on the top generally your hand will look something like that, again your thumb might be at that point and it might be a little bit further in, it is kind of preference. Size of hands will dictate how you are going to hold it. "
