"Thanks for joining me on Expert Village. My name is Patrick Kitten with the Wind Riders Disc Golf Club in McKinsey Park in Lubbock, Texas. We are going to talk about another specialty shop. Sometimes there will be a situation where a basket may be tucked into some bushes either on the left side or the right side of a fairway and you do not have enough room because of some obstacles to do a backhand or a forehand. But, there is a good possibility that you could skip and get to the basket. Maybe there is an overhanging tree where you want to skip it under that tree and get it to the basket. A couple of ways to skip would be right hand you should try to hit the disc about half way between yourself and the basket to get the optimal skip. You should throw it like that which in another segment is called hyzer, the disc hits and pops up and will go very quickly right to left. So let's do this. It skipped and went right to left, but that was a little bit far though. Let's try one forehand. A forehand throw is going to go left to right so I am going to try to hit it like this, which would be hyzer forehand hit and then skip, and it should go left to right. And that is skipping discs."
