"Hi my name is Peter with Expert Village, and today I am going to talk to you about cross country running. In this section I am going to talk to you about stretching your hamstrings in back which is, for those of you who do not know, that is going to give you the strength for every time you move your foot forward and how much further you are going to be able to push off from nothing. So of course shoulder length apart, your feet are not point out and they are not pointing in, they are just perpendicularly straight. And then the key trick on this is, you know you have your glutes up in here, your legs are straight in the back, and from the stomach down to your hands, you just, as if you just lost all life in your upper body, you are barely leaning over, just barely. No, no pressure, no tension on your lower back or in your arms, just like as if there is nothing, you are just lifeless in the upper part of your body. And then you are just really going to feel that tension right here, you are going to feel that pull, that stretch. And you hold this for about thirty seconds. And of course, if you want, for a deeper stretch, you just kind of, you know, move your hand placement a little more forward, and you are going to feel more of a stretch on the back of your hamstrings. And you want to do it for a total of about one minute, so you get one, complete whole stretch. And that is really going to prevent you from tearing any type of muscles and things of that nature. Now once you are done that is it."
