" Hi, my name is Peter with Expert Village. Today I'm going to talk to you about competitive cross country running. In this section I'm going to talk to you about planning your run for competitive cross country running. So you have seven days in a week most times your events are going to be on the weekend either maybe on a Friday typically on a Saturday during the day. So you want to do your runs preferably like a Monday Wednesday Friday or Monday Tuesday Thursday but you just want to do it three times out of that seven day period before your big event. You kind of want to do moderations since it is for competitive cross country running it's kind of like anything else you want to build up towards it. So maybe day one of that week do like a three or four mile run, day two do like a four to seven mile run and then day three since it's right before your big event do like another three to four mile run. It gives your body enough time to do in between those days and it gives you twenty four hours to really get all the muscles back to normal so the next time you run you can run at full capacity."
