"Hi, my name is Peter with Expert Village. Today I'm going to talk to you about cross country running. In this section I'm going to talk to you about stretching after you finished your run. So what you want to do is your foot you want to make sure it's perpendicular to whatever it may be and you want to put the back of heel, put all your weight on the back of your heel. You want to keep it straight don't bend it like this cause you're going to end up tearing something. Just make sure all of your weight is on the back of your heels. Then you can either push onto a tree or grab onto a fence or hold on to any type of brick wall it doesn't matter. Not really pushing anything you're just placing your hand right there and with your other opposite foot your going to on the back of your heel lean on your foot slightly. With just that light movement we're going to do a complete stretch on the calf and you should feel that. You're going to feel like that tingling sensation and you're going to feel that stretch. The reason why you want to do this is because you don't want to get any type of cramps later when you want to go to sleep especially after running for about 3-5 miles. Then you can do the opposite leg as well."
