"RASUL AHMED DAVIS: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Rasul Davis and my company is Punch Kettlebell Gym, New York City, and today I'm going to show you how to get into the swing of things with kettlebells. Right now, I'm going to demonstrate the "swing." This is the foundational exercise for kettlebell training. If you do nothing else, you need to learn the swing correctly. And if you did nothing else, the swing would get you in phenomenal shape: cardiovascularly, strength-wise and in terms of your movement, proper movement. Now, what you want to make sure whenever you're picking up any weight, not just kettlebells, you want to make sure that you have your back in a neutral spine, your hips and glutes out, knees not tracking over the toes. And then from the floor, you're going to swing straight through and keep it above the knees, breathing out at the top. There are variations of different types of swings, but right now we're talking about the two-handed swing."
