"On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Ray Boone and I run the Ray Boone Golf Academy at the beautiful Miami Beach Golf Club. Today I'd like to present to you the basics of short game. Here we are a typical shot till you make base. Bunkers have different lips and banks that you have to play over. So, we have a nice uphill slope here with a bank in front of us, we don't have a lot of green to work with. What we're going to do is setup. You're going to have to find the best stance you can. Sometimes I might have to put my foot out of the bunker, sometimes I may feel better with my feet together. You're just going to have to find the best stance that you can so that you can maintain your balance in the shot. You're going to tilt your spine to the right, we want to tilt our body with the slope as doing a level lie. So if I was standing level I would be here, now I'm on a big uphill slope, I'm tilting my spine over to the right and that's going to enable me to swing up the hill rather than dig into the bank. So here we go, I'm going to swing up the hill, tilt my body back and that's going to get the ball out of the bunker for you."
