"On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Ray Boone and I run the Ray Boone Golf Academy at the beautiful Miami Beach Golf Club. Today I'd like to present to you the topic of the over the top golf swing. Here we are on the take away again. We're going to swing the club back, again arms and chest together, left shoulder working down slightly and if you notice the wings of the airplane are fairly leveled here. That's keeping the club face square, so again we're swinging back, the wings of the plane are staying square and actually the club face itself is square. From there we're going to fly the club over the shoulder creating the nice power angle with the back of the right wrist bent, the right elbow at a 90 degree angle and again that nice full shoulder turn that we were talking about earlier. We're really stretching back, getting the club over the shoulder. It's very common that players will take the club back way inside and then loop over it, that's a very common fall or they just go straight up and again they're chopping on the golf ball. We must take the club back along the line and up and over the shoulder."
