"On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Ray Boone and I run the Ray Boone Golf Academy at the beautiful Miami Beach Golf Club. Today I'd like to present to your the topic of the over the top golf swing. I like to show you from this angle, the correct setup to again, correct the over the top swing. What you want to do again is to get the left shoulder up higher, you can see the arrow I have it pointing up, you can see my right shoulder dropping lower than my left shoulder, you can see also that my left hip appear slightly higher than my right hip as we setup to the golf ball. Again, that's going to draw the right elbow underneath, it's going to drop the shoulder and that's going to allow us to swing the club back and to work the club down more from the inside on the down swing and again that's going to enable you to hit from the inside, enable you to close the club face on the golf ball and to start the ball slight right of your target with a little bit of a draw. We want that ball curving right to left so that we get distance on our shots."
