" On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Raymond T. Meyer of Los Island Voyage, Miami, Florida. This is Ben and Antonio. Today we are going to touch on the subject of beginning canoing and kayaking. Paddles are another essential part if your canoing experience. Most paddles come in either wood, carbon graphite, aluminum,or even fiber glass. But for this type of paddles this is mostly what you find in any canoe renting area. The best way to hold the paddle is to put one hand on the tee and the other other hand close to the fin; this would give you perfect leverage for pushing through the water. Also, there very the best way to find your correct size is have them approximately shoulder height. This is the best way so you can find out to have the best way to fit it on your self. The other kind of paddle is a kayak paddle. You see the main difference between this and the canoe paddle is that it is double tip. This is for facilitating one person rowing and you usually hold on to this with opposite grip on the handles. "
