" On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Raymond Temeyer with Lost Island Voyages, and we also have with us Valerie Kevorkian from Tarpoon Lagoon Dive Center in Miami Beach. We’re going to talk about snorkeling today and all the opportunities that it provides. This is the basic snorkel and has been around for many years. It allows you to breathe with your face in the water and be very relaxed, and you don’t have to worry about swimming much. You can stay very relaxed, and it works very well. However, in recent years, there has been many advances in snorkeling, and Ben is going to demonstrate and show you what some of those advances are. Some of the new advances that have been coming about in recent years has been the purge valve, which is instead...Earlier in the video, you’ve seen me shoot it up the top. Well this makes it come out the bottom and have it much easier. They also have this top valve, which has the overall shape. Prevents water from actually getting in, but they also have a small valve here which prevents water from actually into the snorkel, so it creates a much easier experience for snorkeling in the water. "
