"Hello this is Ric O'Kane on behalf of expertvillage.com in this clip I'm going to be demonstrating 1 of the 4 basic punches of Muay Thai. If you want to find out more about Muay Thai you can visit our website at fightingtrainer.com. Now I'm going to demonstrate hooking punches. Hooking punches of Muay Thai. Okay from my basic fighting stance I'm going to set up my right hook, from here a slight bob to the right, I'm going to rotate my right shoulder, keep my form arm vertical hit squirrelly with my fist into my opponents chin. Again I bob to the right, right hook, again my right heel comes up just like the right upper cut. My reverse heel comes up and for the left hook I'm going to set it up off a little bob to the left and shift my weight to my left foot, my left side becomes the leverage, my right side becomes the base. Again shifting to the left, my weight shifts actually to my right leg pivoting the ball of my left foot. Again fro the right hook, shift my weight to my right, right side pivots, and for our side view for the right hook. I bob to the right, rotate on the ball of my right foot and left side. "
