"Hi, this is Rich Carr from Meadia Heights Golf Club in Lancaster, Pa on behalf of Expert Village. I’m here to talk about the various signs you see on the golf course, and how they’re here for your safety and the course’s protection as well. This particular sign is a cart sign. They would like the carts to flow off to my right; the reason that is, is that the slope is very, very steep going down toward the green. You could not only cause yourself bodily injury, but you could cause the golf course turf, injury as well, by slipping and sliding down the hill. So its very important on the golf course to pay attention to the signs because they’re usually there for a good reason. Standing between 2 different signs that you’ll see on the golf course. One, carts on path only. That’s typical; you’ll see that on almost every par 3 you come to, on any golf course. The reason for that is there’s not a whole lot of room between the cart path and the green and superintendents would like you to keep the cart on the path so that you don’t damage the golf course. For this particular sign, this is clearly a safety sign, Caution, slippery when wet, so what you would want to do in this situation, once you read the sign, you go down the cart path, you want to be very, very careful, maybe take it down at half speed so that you don’t get into a situation where the brakes lock up and the cart could roll or just slide out of position"
