How to Do a Jump Trick Shot

"On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Richard Buccola and today I’m going to teach you some trick pool shots. Alright I’ve got another really simple easy, easy I mean so easy you’re going to laugh at how easy it is but you know what it’s good for laughs and a lot of people enjoy it. What you want to do is just take two balls set them up into this diamond, push them together and try placing a ball on top and you’ll see if you just press it hard enough you’ll get the ball to stay, sometimes you actually have to knock the ball and I got it to stay. So what you want to do is have that setup like that, come down to the other end and tell your friend hey listen I’m going to keep this ball behind the line, there’s a line here in the center it’s not there but it’s an imaginary line, I’m going to take the q-ball and I’m going to hit the 11 ball which is the ball on top without hitting the 15 or the 1. So right away they think you’re going to jump the shot and the chances of doing that are like slim to none, so you say I bet you a drink, I bet you a $1 you know whatever you want to do. So that’s the shot nine out of ten times they think you can’t do it, let me show you how easy it is…."
