" How are you doing? My name is Qaeem and on behalf of Expert Village, I’m going to be demonstrating Shorin-Ryu Karate. In Shorin-Ryu Karate, we have the reverse punch. In the reverse punch, I’m going to be demonstrating today is going to be the reverse punch towards the center of someone’s body, which is the reverse punch mid. Which is generally you going to be attacking between the navel and the bottom of the neck. Now once again and just like in the reverse punch high, you practice this from the horse stance. The horse stance once again it helps create a center of gravity, but it also you know gives you more power when you are in the stance. We’re going to start in the ready position. You are going to come to the X block. We are going to come down. Now the reverse punch mid, you are going to come back, left arm is coming out. Now we are just like in the reverse punch high when you are punching both of the arms should be settled at the same time when you are punching. It shouldn’t be one back here and the other one beginning to come up. They both should start and stop at the same time. Now I’m going to show you that from the side angle. Starting and stopping at the same time. What you have to imagine is that you have a target right in front of you. You are punching right into someone's center of chest. You can also measure this by just where your chest is. Your chest is right here the punch should be straight forward of the chest. You’re going to be in the horse stance and once you begin the practices, and you can get better you can do it faster. That is reverse punch middle. Once again, my name is Qaeem on behalf of Expert Village, thank you for watching."
