Okay, monofilament. What is the difference between monofilament and braided lines? Okay, I get that question asked to me thousands of times. Okay what the difference is that you don't have know stretch on this braided line. When monofilament stretches, it's got that stretch. See that stretch on my line, how my hand is actually stretched out like that and that is what monofilament has. It has a little stretch point before the break point. Now these spider lines that are coming out with now are excellent too. They really cut through the water really great so when you are dropping live baits and things like that real deep, they really cut through the water really, really well. They will get your bait down pretty, pretty quickly and once again, the monofilament has stretch. The spider line, no stretch, I mean look. I can out cut my fingers but you will not stretch this line. It will break at 85 pound tucks. "
