on 8/2/2008 No. The block hits the inner forearm, towards the elbow but not touching it; the largest part of the forearm is the target. It seems as though Master Negron is getting closer to Sensei Sherlock's elbow with each block; that elbow break is when his blocking hand is very near her inner elbow.

on 8/2/2008 It isn't emphasized, but it seems that the block is to the opponent's inner elbow, not at the wrist, likely because a hook punch can slit past at the wrist and make impact. I liked what was shown for the takedown, but that elbow break at the end of the video could have been emphasized more, even though it's an alternate move.
