Today we are going to learn beginner's techniques in aikido. Our next fundamental technique is called tsuki-kote gaeshi. Basically what it is, the attacker is going to punch the mid section, we are going to irimi, tenkan and the upper throw. So the first part should look like this: uke is going to punch me, and I'm going to by pass the strike by irimi to the side. I grab the fist, I tenkan. I'm going to move behind, bring him to my center line, and then moving forward to throw. I grab the elbow, turn him over, and I finish with a arm technique.
