" On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Ralph Reyes. I'm the Dojo-cho and the aikido instructor at Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. Today we are going to learn beginner's techniques in aikido. All aikido techniques are conducted standing up, and on the ground as well. And for that we walk in what we call shikko, which is walking on the knees. So basically we start on the ground, in what we call a seiza position. One foot comes up and the other one goes behind. Now the knee goes down and the other one comes up. The knee goes down, and the other knee goes up. Now keep walking. "
