"Reinstalling a rear wheel while working on a bike while it is not upside down can be a little challenging. I recommend holding the bike by the seat, try to arrange it so that the front end is in line with the bike. Now the dérailleur should be all the way over as we shifted it down to the highest gear. In this bike's case it was seven. Bring the wheel over to the frame, take this bottom part of the chain, it is below the dérailleur, gently bring it around so it is under the free wheel or cassette. Gently drop the bike down, make sure the tire isn't hitting one of these brigs so it continues to go down. Make sure the quick release lever is open and the bike is sitting in the dropouts all the way. Now in this case these are vertical dropouts in this particular bike's case. Now, we clamp the quick release. The great way to check tightness on a quick release is it should start to feel harder to close at of the halfway mark. This I would like a little tighter, so I am going to leave it open, screw this side a little bit, then you clamp. A great way to know how hard it should clamp is if it leaves a momentary imprint in the palm of your hand after you close it. Go back to your brakes, reconnect them, lift the bike up, spin the wheel. Make sure it is all running smoothly and they are crooked or rubbing. "
