"Hi! I'm Niqui with Studio Soiree. A full bracket hold, which is your inside arm holding on to the pole, such that your entire forearm is on the pole and your outside arm high, is very stable strong hold. Why wouldn't we use it to do inversion? Now, this inversion is more challenging and rewarding than it is dance worthy, but it's really, really good for your upper body, your pecs, and your balance and coordination, and especially your stamina. Stay up here for a couple of seconds, you'll see what I mean. Basically we're going to do the full bracket hold upside down, which is like this. I've got the pole kind of under my arm and I'm holding with my full forearm. My lower arm is lower, much lower. Be careful not to bend this elbow.
