"Hi! I'm Niqui with Studio Soiree. I've got a move that's each pretty intense, strength building, and it helps to increase flexibility. It's called the windmill and it's going to work your shoulders, your lats, your core, and your hip flexors. It's also going to help you with coordination. It's really important on the pole. You're going to use a full bracket hold, which is your inside arm touching the pole all through the length of your forearm. Outside arm goes up. We're going to hook our hip a little bit on the pole. We'll bring our inside leg out to the other side of the pole. We're going to sweep it around, and then we're going to follow with our outside leg. We can use that momentum to spin us right around, switch the grip, and do it on the other side. If I do a couple, you'll see how smoothly they flow. Inside leg sweeps around, meets with the outside leg, you turn. Inside leg, around. Each time you want to engage your arms. You might want to pull yourself up a little bit. You want your entire body to be engaged. Mindfulness is the difference between doing something and making something beneficial for your body."
