"Hi welcome to Expert Village my name is Nicholas Daniel. The back flip transition is actually a very advanced maneuver. Again we have four starting positions: belly, back, sit, and head down. Again you want to be comfortable in at least three of those positions before you initiate this. Start with a slight upper movement just like the front flip you want to make sure that you don't drift as you do this transition especially if you have people that you are flying with. Initiate the flip by looking behind you like picking your chin up. You want to be able to see where you are going. Again use your arms and legs to fly the transition and with the back flip it is extremely important that you don't try to huck the movement, kind of like a gymnast would. You want to make sure that you fly the whole transition all the way through. Interception your desire in any position again adjust accordingly. You want to make sure you have time to stop. If you are unstable again bail to your back that is going to be your best bet your best out. Once you finish this transition you can end in any of this four stable position. You again you don't have to do a 360 to do a flip. You can do 90s, 180s, 360s, or continues what ever you like to do. The back flip in the tunnel is definitely one of the dangerous transition that we have in the tunnel so make sure that you consult a instructor before you do so. Be safe and have fun.
