How to Rename Digital Photos after uploading to computer?

Summary: So, you just uploaded pictures from your digital camera to your computer. Picture names are in weird number format. You want to change the names to some useful form, so that you can easily identify them by names later on. You don’t need any software to do that. Windows can do that for you. This trick works with any windows system including Vista.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Select the pictures you want to rename.

  2. Step 2

    Go to first picture. And Right Click on it. (Don’t click on it first; otherwise you will loose the selection of photos)

  3. Step 3

    Now, click on the ‘Rename’ from the right click menu. The first picture will have rename text box. Write down some meaningful name like picnic or birthday photos.

  4. Step 4

    Press Enter. And Boom… all the selected pictures are in more meaningful name. (Check out video for more details)
