"So if you are looking for a pair of cycling shoes there are two things that you want to consider, first of all the kind of riding that you are going to be doing if it is going to be mountain biking, road biking. There are two different models of shoes. Road biking will have a smoother platform. A lot of the high end models will have a carbon insole in them which makes the shoe a little bit stiffer and a little bit more performance oriented. You can go with something that will have like a nylon sole and that won't give you quite as stiff of a shoe but you can still maintain comfort. Mountain biking will just have a little bit of a tread on the shoe so that way if you get off you can still hike around and have a little bit of traction. Having a really comfortable shoe is going to be important for cycling because that is going to be one of your contact points so usually if a customer is kind of iffy in considering what kind of shoe to go for usually you can opt for a little nicer shoe and in the end you will probably appreciate that a little bit more. They do make a ton of different styles of shoes, some of them have a little bit of a buckle on them, some of them will have a couple of different straps on them, it really depends on what you are looking for and what your budget is like. They do make a lot of other shoes for like triathlons will have a single strap on it, easy to get in and out of really quickly and there is also a lot of different pedals that you can use and the clips that you want to use on the bottom of them as well so you have to take that into consideration as well. So if you are looking for a pair of shoes consider what kind of riding you are going to be doing."
