"For mountain biking in the absolute coldest of cold conditions and road cycling too. Weather I'd say from 30 to -10 or 15 degrees, you can make some really good clothing choices that are really going to help you stay comfortable and alive. The first thing is choosing good base layers you can wear a base layer, similar to the one I have been showing you for cooler weather and for the rain except this one is a wind front base layer so there is an impermeable layer to wind and it is long sleeve, real good durable waking fabric that keeps you dry and it's hollow spun to create more of an air gap between you and the outside of the garment to keep you really warm. This is an amazing garment, this can take, and you wear one of these and a traditional long sleeve cycling jersey. Now these alone will make most people comfortable down into the lower 40's upper 30's. When it gets colder than that, or if you don't have all of this clothing available you can layer with a good base layer like this and then a very expensive cycling specific garment called a thermal jacket. Which basically fits like a traditional cycling jersey, but it's considerable thicker. This outer layer is pretty much water resistant, completely wind proof, and then there is an inner fleece layer. That and a base layer like this are going to keep you warm to about 15 degrees. If it's colder than that you want to add an additional base layer like I've been showing you."
