"So I like to show you how disc brakes work cause a lot of people aren't familiar with this brakes yet. This last time you bought a bike maybe had you know brakes that work clamp on the rim or you know whatever. So these disc brakes are a lot nice because they work better in every condition cause you have a medal pad, a medal braking surface, a lot more controllable. But you know there are a few mystifying things about them, on my bike a hydraulic brake system so that means here the brake lever there's a piston that pushes some fluid down the line down to the brake caliper. So you need to make sure that when you have the front wheel of the bike or the rear wheel off the bike, when you pull the lever you don't want to do that without the wheel on there. Because the pads will push out and your brakes will be to far from the handle bar and they won't really move to well when you done with that. So the disc brake system are very powerful you want to make sure that you know you have your front brake your rear break and you understand the difference between the 2 and what they do. But the fundamental of the brakes are really that they just stop your wheel well."
