"So the wheelie the combination of creating some torque with down stroke in your peddling and shifting you weight back or pulling up on the handle bars is the first component of getting over a obstacle on a trail. So I'm going to show you by coming down the section by the tree come up to it, do everything up with my handle bars and I create that torque and that is really what got my bars up most of the way and that sort of tugging action the up and back which is pretty similar to the climbing which is up and down. That really helps to keep that front wheel up so I'm hovering up over the seat as I go over the log and it allows me to do a good job getting over a obstacle. So because as you can see the obstacle isn't so high that if I came up prematurely I would stop. I have a little bit of clearance here. My train ring does hit it but as you would see in later segments we have ways of inletting our rear wheel to make it easier to get over a obstacle. "
