"Now, I have a ferrell on each end. A ferrell's just a fancy French word for a cap that keeps the housing from pulling through, like it did earlier. I'm going to insert that back into the derailleur and frame, like it was before, and now I'm going to work towards replacing that second bit of housing, so. Same thing, I hold it up to get an idea of the length. And obviously i have to estimate here, since there's so much that's pulled through. And I cut a little bit on the long side, because you never now might accidently fray it when you're cutting it. It's a good clean cut; it's still open on both ends. So now I'm going to grab myself some more ferrells, because there weren't ferrells on there before, so now I have the ferrells that I need. So that this thing willl stay running smooth for a long time. Ok, see, how this goes? Looks like the furret is rougher over to the left, like that, have nice, long, clean run. And now I will cut myself one last run of housing, using the piece of housing I took off there initially as a guide."
