"In a slightly steeper and more technical trail, like the one I just rode with the rocks and roots in it, you can see that my upper body was higher and rotated back. Instead of being really low and over the front, I'm still aggressive and attacking the trail, but I moved my weight back a little bit. Especially with the lack of suspension that I have up front. If all my weight was really low and forward, every time I hit a root or a rock, it would want to slow me down a little bit too much. By a little bit too much, I mean throw me off the bike. A little bit smoother, a little bit higher, lower, further back. My ice cream cone instead of being like this, a little bit more, lowered it, moved it back a little bit just to keep the center off mass in a more appropriate place. It's finding this delicate balance. On every different type of trail, you want to do different things with your body placement, the way that you use your brakes, and everything else to maintain the control."
