"Hi! My name is Mike Lumley. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to teach you pitching. Now we're going to quicken this up a little bit. Okay, now we'll quicken it up. A good way to train on this to get a guy a little bit quicker has he goes once he gets the footwork down, is to pull a stopwatch out and start to time how quick he can get over to 1st base under control. I'll vary my set here. The big thing for me is not always to put in on the tag. I'm going to put around thigh high. This will give me a chance or give my 1st baseman a chance to catch the ball and put the tag in himself. If I get too far or get too precise on putting it right on the tag, more times than not I'm going to throw the ball away or throw it up the line. One more."
