"GRADUADO ADVOGADO: My name is Advogado on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to talk about a basic two-kick sequence in capoeira. It's really good for stretching as well, so this is a good way to start out some of your training. We start with the left leg back. The sequence is called pass pe armada. We will be kicking opposite legs today. So what you're going to do is you're going to go ahead and start with your left leg back, left arm up, step to the base, the base position. Your right foot is going to come off the floor just like passa pe, which is in another clip. You're going to strike with your instep of your right foot. The leg is straight. It goes all the way across the front of your body and then it lands at a 45-degree angle past your body. Okay? Once you've done that you're going to go ahead and twist. Your arms are up protecting your face. You're going to go ahead and twist until you can see--twist towards your left until you can see over your left shoulder towards your target, and then your left leg is going to come up and you're going to strike with the outside edge of your left foot. From here, you want to make sure once you kick that armada, the second kick, you're going to go ahead and land all the way to the back. Your heel is up off the floor. Your left arm is up protecting your face."
