"NICK GRALIKE: Hey, it's Nick here at Ramp Riders in St. Louis and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. This clip we're going to talk about the X-up and how to approach it. You're going to need a big ramp like this. You know it's where you're going to be able to get enough air. This trick is going to take a couple seconds of air time 'cause you're going to be throwing your bars in the air this. When you're in the air, you going to be balanced and stable. You're going to be able to move around a little bit, you don't want to be too tight, too tensed up. What you're going to do though--big thing is make sure your toes are out of the way of the tire, on your pedals 'cause if you're like this, you go and throw your bars, it's going to hit your pedal or it hit your toe on the tire and not be able to throw it away, so just keep your toe back little bit on the front forward [PH] or a front pedal forward [PH], throw 'em, then you can get all the way around. Another one is you don't want to be sitting on your seat in the air, you don't want to be over the bars 'cause when you try to throw it, you're going to be hitting your thigh and you know it would look stupid. You don't want to be way too far back. When you go and throw it, you're going to be all stretched out and not able to catch it and you're going to land all terrible and it may be a wreck [PH]. So just stay still, you know get over the center of the bike, keep balance, thrown 'em, catch 'em, you'll be fine, land smooth and that's the approach of an X-up."
