"When you are creeking with buddies or just generally just river running you always want to paddle with some style, you want to try and make sure that you plan to link your moves ahead of time so that you will know that you would be in a couple of positions to keep on moving down stream and not get stuck in a eddy thinking what you are going to do next. So a little different from eddy hopping because in eddy hopping you are stopping at the end for a few seconds looking down the stream looking for a safe places to go. When you are planning linking moves and you use the eddies moving right to left, you use the eddies to step and turn yourself around where it is a constant flow continuously down the stream just like the river itself.
