"If you are creeking in a very tight and narrow river it may be good idea to use the rocks in the side of that river to get you in the right position that you want to be in. Only if it looks safe and looks do able with your experience for you to do. If you are going next to a rock and you want to be in the position where you want to be right below that rock or maybe in a pool below it you can use that rock by paddling into it. Balance of to the side of your boat and maybe boofing off the bottom side of that rock to put in the right position further down stream. Using rocks to boof off just like that lift of drops it is very helpful to get into that right spot so you can keep moving further on and make that next move. "
